This Privacy Policy explains how Prestige Executive Services LLC, doing business as The Benefits Bridge-Shannon T. Smith ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit thebenefitsbridge.com (the "Site") or contact us for insurance products and services. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

We are an independent, non-captive insurance brokerage based in North Carolina and licensed in FL, GA, LA, MD, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA Shannon T. Smith (NPN 20768229). We help individuals and families with Medicare, health, life, final expense, and supplemental insurance.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a quote, schedule an appointment, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, and information about your insurance needs. To prepare quotes or enroll you, we may also collect health, Medicare, or financial information that you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar usage data through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from insurance carriers, quoting and enrollment platforms, and referral sources, consistent with their own privacy terms.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and provide the insurance guidance you request.
• To prepare quotes, compare plans, and help you enroll in coverage.
• To contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry and your coverage (see Section 5).
• To send newsletters, tips, and marketing if you have opted in (see Section 6).
• To operate, improve, and secure the Site.
• To meet our legal, regulatory, and insurance compliance obligations.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you and run our business, including with:

• Insurance carriers and their underwriting and enrollment systems, to provide quotes and place coverage.
• Service providers that operate our tools, such as our website host (GoDaddy), customer and email platforms (HubSpot, Constant Contact), scheduling (Calendly), forms (JotForm), and e-signature (DocuSign, Adobe). These providers may process your information only on our behalf.
• Government agencies, regulators, or others when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Phone and text message consent (TCPA)

By providing your phone number and submitting a form on the Site, you agree that we, or a licensed agent acting on our behalf, may call and text you at that number, including by automated means, about insurance products and your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling at any time.

6. Email marketing and your choices

If you subscribe, we may send newsletters and marketing emails through providers such as Constant Contact or HubSpot. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We will still send you non-marketing messages related to your coverage or inquiries.

7. Cookies and tracking

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies.

8. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and insurance recordkeeping obligations.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of marketing. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

10. Third-party websites

The Site links to third-party tools such as PlanEnroll and HealthSherpa so you can compare and enroll in plans. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please review their policies before submitting information to them.

11. Children

The Site is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Medicare and government notice

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to the plans we do offer in your area. To get information on all of your options, contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP). The Benefits Bridge is a private insurance agency and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration (SSA), or any other government agency.
